Airlines aim to enhance experiences for travellers on their flights, by preparing comfortable services en route to upcoming journeys. Working with Galileo Watermark, the project focused on creating memorable experiences for premium economy travellers through unique in-flight products to be enjoyed from pre-flight to post travels.
Choosing the airline company Emirates, the travel amenities were designed with an on brand muted colour palette and elegant, sleek forms which celebrates details. The entertainment kit designed consisted of four components: the travel pouch, notepad, carabiner pen and earphone wrap. Each of the items were designed to be used beyond the flight, to accompany the traveller at their destination.
The travel pouch has a detachable strap which can be used as a sling bag to include important documents such as your passport or flight tickets. Having a plain muted design on the outside, it has intricate detailing inside which can house pens or other travel documents. Post travel, the strap can be detached and the pouch can be used beyond the flight such as a makeup pouch or pencil case.
Carabiner pens are the perfect travel pens as they can be easily hooked onto your bags for easy access. They are slim and compact, reducing space and are flat sitting to prevent the pen from rolling away in-flight.
This notepad is handy for jotting down quick notes and ideas, and can be propped up to stand on its own.
The earphone wrap is a multi-use item which not only helps contain the earphone cable from tangling, but also acts as a phone stand for your own in-flight entertainment. The soft microfibre cloth on the outside acts as a screen wipe to keep the screen clean.
